MSBA Pre-Conference for Student Board Members
Centering Student Voice in School Governance
The first-of-its-kind Student Board Members Workshop is set for Wednesday, October 28th, 2:00 – 4:30 PM at the Augusta Civic Center. This is a pre-conference to the 53rd Annual MSMA Fall Conference. I hope you will encourage your student board members (or any student who may have an interest in becoming a student representative on your local school board) to attend. The workshop will be facilitated by the National Student Board Members Association (NSBMA).
There will be a nominal fee of $50 per student to attend the workshop, and registration information will be available at the start of the new school year. In the meantime, we encourage you to promote the workshop so that the date can be saved.
