The Department of Education has released a spreadsheet that shows the distribution of General Purpose Aid by district statewide.
The sheet reflects the General Purpose Aid approved by the Legislature on June 30, as part of the biennial budget. It represents a $40 million increase in GPA from the fiscal year that just ended. The sheet also reflects a required local mill rate of 8.23. Funding for minimum receivers is 30 percent of special education costs.
Individual EDU 279s were released to districts earlier this month.
