The MSSM seeks an Executive Director to lead one of the nation's few public, residential magnet schools.  MSSM serves about 140 talented high school students from across the state.  Specializing in science and mathematics, but also offering rigorous humanities courses , MSSM is Maine's first and only statewide public high school.  The Executive Director oversees the school's full operations, balancing the roles of management style, respectful of alternative viewpoints, comfortable in a collegial environment, and capable of decisive action and leading by persuasion.
